The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind

Have You Ever Considered The True Power Of Your Subconscious Mind?

When was the last time you consciously thought about beating your heart…

Or breathing through your lungs…

Or digesting your food…

Or any of the other millions of programs your sub-conscious mind controls every day of your life.

Just like all of these life sustaining programs are being run and controlled by your subconscious, so are most of your programs that determine your health, wealth and happiness.

Today, I want to share with you a short excerpt out of Joseph Murphy’s book The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind.

I was given a copy of this book yesterday on Father’s Day, and while I was drinking my nice cup of tea, after enjoying breakfast in bed, I started reading. Within the first few pages I came across this passage that I’ll cover for you in the video below, because it had an impact on me, and I hope it will for you as well.

Do you have a new appreciation for the power of your subconscious mind?

Have you ever considered just how much of your life is being run by your subconscious mind and the programs that it operates on?

The good news is that the power of your subconscious mind can be harnessed and directed in the way you want.

The first step is being conscious of your ability to control it.

The second step is to begin feeding that subconscious mind the right information to produce the results you’re looking for.

If the programs you’re currently running have been in place for years, and even decades, know that you’re not likely to change them overnight.

The good news is that the subconscious does not have the ability to analyze what you feed it. It simply accepts what you program it with, and adopts that program. This is why continuous effort and repetition is necessary to replace old programs with new, more desirable programs.

Leave me a comment below and tell me what subconscious programming you’ve recently become aware of, and what you are doing to replace it.

  • I’ve been a hypnotherapist for years…I’ll add that our subconscious programs are all mostly in place by the age of 7-11. The Great Inside sort of forgets that you grew up and learned new skills! Catching up is possible! I like your video. K

Yes, and as a parent of an almost 8 and 10 year old, I’m all too aware that they are developing beliefs now that may impact the rest of their lives. It’s sobering, and something I hope guides some of the decisions I make to ensure I’m not planting the wrong seeds.

      All the best,

  • The headache/fan thing is true! For years I was “allergic” to roses. With inner work and memory recall, I was, in fact, allergic to feathers. The connection? My pillow, as a child, was a feather one. It had little roses on the fabric holding the feathers. At the same time, I was hurt and given a rose-covered handkerchief to put on the wound. My subconscious saw the blood, the pain, the roses, the wheezing I did every night, and put them together! Poof! I was allergic to roses. (and that was only pictures of roses~) ….. I’m not allergic to roses anymore…..Great Stuff!! K

Thanks for sharing that personal example Kate. I’ve always wondered how much of that situation was linked to a belief and perhaps not caused by the actual fan.

The human brain is a fascinating piece of equipment.

      Best of Success,
