You, yes, YOU have the power to live up to your highest vision of how your life can be, or what you want in your life. Since you have the right to choose what you think, what you do, and who you want to be, you have this enormous power of CHOICE, which gives you full control and power to make huge progress on your goals.
I was just pulling in the driveway after picking up our kids from school…
My phone rang, and it was from a local number I didn’t recognize.
I normally wouldn’t answer it and just let it go to voicemail, but this time something told me I should take the call…
You’ve no doubt heard the famous first lines from Charles Dickens classic A Tale Of Two Cities
It was the best of times,
It was the worst of times…
In any given moment those 2 worlds exist.
For some, it may seem like the best of times.
For others, it feels like the worst of times.
What’s the difference?
The difference is which world the person focuses on.
I’ve had a number of conversations lately with people who say they don’t know what their purpose and passion is.
They’re moving through life without a clear destination, and like a log in the river just keep getting carried downstream.
In my morning reading today, I discovered 4 questions you can ask yourself to help discover your purpose and passion.
Someone shared this lovely poem with me earlier today.
It reminded me that it’s truly important to love yourself first. Without self love, life will be a struggle.
There’s a saying that says if our friends talk to us the way we talk to ourselves, we wouldn’t have any friends, and it’s so true!

Rhonda Swan and the Unstoppable Family is a story I’ve been following for a few years now.
I don’t remember for sure when I first became aware of this high energy bride and her surfer dude husband (and cuter than ever daughter), but their story certainly got my attention.
Here was a couple of former corporate slaves turned family who had sold off all of their worldly possessions and set out on a (planned) 2 year trip to see the world and tell their story online.
Well, it’s now more than 7 years later, and they’ve lived in and traveled to countless countries and been to all but one continent on the planet so far. (Although their daughter has her sights set on achieving the 7th soon!)
Today, they live in Bali Indonesia, and have built a multiple 6 figure business online.
They live life on their own terms, and inspire and coach others from around the world to do the same.
Enjoy the interview! I know I will!
Can you really create your ideal life with 15 questions?
I remember the first time I did this exercise.
It was nearly a decade ago now, and I’ve still got the paper I wrote it on.
This is a powerful exercise to do, especially if you actually put pen to paper. The act of writing (use blue ink) creates a neurological link in your brain that typing, talking or just thinking can’t do. Actually get out a pen and pad of paper and spend some time writing down your answers to these questions in vivid detail. Your future self will thank you for it.
You’ve probably heard the expression
“Hurt people hurt people”
To explain why people sometimes do things that hurt others.
I’m an eternal optimist, so I also like to see the other side of the coin. I believe people are inherently good.
So I coined the phrase
“Helped people help people.”
I just finished back to back mastermind calls on a Sunday evening.
Doing brainstorming and planning on Sunday evening is a key component for starting your week strong.
I’m not saying you have to be on webinars or mastermind calls like I am, but I do get great value from doing it.
Starting your week strong can be accomplished in a number of ways, and a key to that is what you do Sunday night to plan your week.
Zig Ziglar famously said:
“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing, that’s why we recommend it daily.”
Part of my daily routine is to feed my mind with motivation.
In the form of reading…
listening to audios
watching motivational videos.
